Hi, I'm Jacqueline and welcome to my website.  I am an Irish self-taught oil painter and my interest lies in evoking an emotional response to my work.  Whether it's a landscape, an old door or building, a person or pet, I strive to capture a sense of place or being.  I'm interested in what and who has gone before, and that influence in the now.  I am also constantly inspired by the beautiful Irish landscape and seascape, and how the light falls on nature. 

I enjoy doing portrait commissions, especially when I can feel the love someone has for the subject, which I believe adds to the process and the finished painting.  I was honoured to be chosen to be a participant in Sky Portrait Artist of the Year 2021.

I have shown my work in exhibitions in Clonmel, Cahir, Dungarvan and Naas, and have completed numerous commissions.
